Digger Operator - Byerwen

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced  Digger Operators  for a permanent opportunity within a leading coal mining operation in Queensland.
This role offers an excellent lifestyle roster on a  7/7, competitive pay rates, and long-term job security. Successful candidates will be working within a high-performing production team in a well-established mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production mining equipment including diggers and ancillary mobile plant
• Support load and haul operations to meet production targets safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-start inspections, hazard identification, and routine equipment checks
• Follow all site safety systems, procedures, and operational requirements
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew to maintain safe and productive operations

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum  2 years production mining experience  required
• Experience operating excavators and dozers in production mining
• Valid  Standard 11 (S11)
• Valid  Coal Board Medical
• Training transcripts required
• Clean  NPC (within 6 months)
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in a team environment
• Must be available for rostered FIFO/DIDO work

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current driver’s license
• Strong communication and adherence to site procedures
