About the Company

MacKellar is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team supporting Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region. This permanent position offers a lifestyle roster, competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity to work with a company that values safety, reliability, and maintaining a high-performing fleet.

7/7 roster – day shift only

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment
Complete component replacements, overhauls and fault diagnostics
Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing activities
Conduct daily inspections and refuelling requirements
Ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance team
Work collaboratively to identify and implement practical maintenance solutions

What You'll Bring

Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
Post-trade experience within the mining industry
Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Commitment to safe work practices and preventative maintenance principles
Current Queensland Driver Licence
