We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at a mining operation near Blackwater, supporting the maintenance of a large fleet of heavy mobile equipment.

The Opportunity

As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of a diverse mining fleet. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you'll perform a combination of planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and major component replacements to support safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
• Completing component replacements, machine overhauls and major repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying effective repair solutions
• Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
• Responding to equipment breakdowns and minimising operational downtime
• Completing maintenance records and documentation accurately
• Maintaining compliance with all site safety and maintenance standards
• Working closely with maintenance and operational personnel to achieve production objectives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
• Previous experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and reliability
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
