We’re now looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our high-performing maintenance team at Middlemount Mine.

The Role
You’ll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring a large fleet of heavy mining equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and repairing CAT dozers (D10, D11) and other heavy mobile plant
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing breakdown repairs
- Performing component change-outs and rebuilds
- Working in line with site safety systems and maintenance procedures
- Collaborating with trades and maintenance personnel to maximise equipment availability
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic
- Experience working on heavy earthmoving or mining equipment
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and team collaboration
