We're currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team, supporting a large-scale mining operation with a modern fleet of heavy mining equipment.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining fleet reliability and equipment performance. Working within a high-production mining environment, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, repairs and breakdown support to keep operations running efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing activities
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Carrying out component change-outs and major machine repairs
- Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting equipment issues
- Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Completing maintenance documentation and reporting requirements
- Working collaboratively with operators, planners and maintenance personnel
- Maintaining compliance with site safety and maintenance standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technician
- Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Current Driver's Licence
- Experience working on Caterpillar equipment highly regarded
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and reliability
