About the Role
MacKellar is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to support our Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region.
You'll maintain and repair heavy earthmoving equipment, helping maximise fleet reliability and minimise downtime.
Earning $79.81/hr + super, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing faults and completing component change-outs
- Conducting equipment inspections and refuelling as required
- Maintaining safe work practices and high standards of workmanship
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- A recognised Diesel Fitting trade qualification
- Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A current Queensland driver's licence
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
