We're currently looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team at a mine located just outside Blackwater, QLD. About the role

Working within a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our heavy mining fleet operating safely and efficiently. Your work will include preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, component change-outs and breakdown repairs to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
• Conducting scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Completing major component replacements and rebuild work
• Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
• Accurately completing maintenance documentation
• Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Working collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams

What you'll bring

• Australian recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification
• Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
