About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team supporting Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region. This permanent position offers an attractive day-shift-only lifestyle roster, excellent hourly rate and the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team.

The role
As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of our heavy earthmoving fleet through planned servicing, preventative maintenance and quality repairs. Working closely with the maintenance team, you'll help maximise equipment availability while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment
- Completing major component replacements and machine overhauls
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Conducting daily inspections and refuelling activities
- Completing maintenance work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team
- Working collaboratively to improve equipment reliability and fleet performance
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Australian recognised Diesel Fitter trade qualification
- Post-trade experience in the mining industry
- Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
