We're seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team supporting a new mining operation near Nyngan, NSW. This is a permanent opportunity to work on a modern fleet in a well-equipped workshop, backed by an experienced leadership team and a strong commitment to safety.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability and availability of a diverse fleet of heavy mining equipment. You'll perform planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across mining equipment
- Completing breakdown repairs to minimise equipment downtime
- Inspecting equipment and identifying maintenance requirements
- Completing maintenance documentation accurately
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and company standards
- Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to maximise fleet performance
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- Australian recognised trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent
- Experience maintaining heavy mining, earthmoving, civil or construction equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
- Ability to work a rotating 7/7 day and night roster
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Previous mining maintenance experience will be highly regarded
