About the Role

Job Title: Dewatering Technician Genesis is currently seeking applications for Dewatering Technicians to be at the forefront of our Leonora Gold Operation mine. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The role may be Fly-in Fly-out from Perth WA, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora and Laverton.

The opportunity

• Installation, maintenance, and removal of dewatering infrastructure including sumps, trenches, pipes and pumps.
• Carry out preventative maintenance of the dewatering system.
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of damaged pumps, and all dewatering infrastructure.
• Carry out the regular review of maintenance processes and investigate, assess and where appropriate, propose modern technology.
• Prioritise resources and coordinate all unplanned work that arises over the course of the week.

Job Summary Maintain the day to day watering equipment of the site and monitor water equipment

Job Statement Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the mining maintenance team to dewater the mine safely and efficiently.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Valid W.A Manual Driver's License.
• Basic Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs and Pronto would be an advantage.
• HR license, Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift tickets would be advantageous to your application.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dewatering Technician.
