About the Role
As a Data Centre Services Engineer – Electrical, you will play a key role in the delivery of a new hyperscale data centre, ensuring the design, coordination and installation of critical electrical infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability, resilience and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coordination of electrical building services (LV/MV, UPS, generators) across multidisciplinary teams
- Review and manage design to meet project, compliance and uptime requirements
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 3013 and relevant standards
- Coordinate design, procurement and construction interfaces
- Support commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST)
About You / Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years’ experience in building services (ideally data centres / mission critical)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, backup systems and containment
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, etc and compliance requirements)
- Proven experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams in complex environments
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and ability to manage priorities in fast-paced projects
