The Opportunity

The role of Data and Integration Architect at Evolution Mining is one of collaboration, and of guiding principles as much as it is about prescribing and designing enterprise-wide data and integration architecture.

At its core, this new role will see you develop data and integration strategies that support business priorities, enabling effective decision making whilst maintaining integrity, security, and accessibility of our information assets.

Success in this role will be determined by your ability to deliver results in the right way, providing architectural guidance that meaningfully reduces risk, improves alignment or accelerates outcomes, and doing so via transparent and evidence-based engagement.

Operating out of our Sydney group office, you will,

• Develop and maintain the enterprise data and integration architecture frameworks, standards and principles.
• Support the Enterprise Architecture Lead in architecture review board (ARB) activities, ensuring data and integration compliance for proposed solutions.
• Partner with the Group Manager Data and Analytics to align enterprise architecture with analytics strategy and data management objectives.
• Provide architectural oversight for data pipelines, integration layers, APIs, and reporting platforms.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data and integration architecture practices and compliance with standards.
• Champion a collaborative, data-driven culture across IT, operations and business functions.
• Proactively apply an outside-in perspective to shape our data and integration architecture, drawing on leading practices and industry advancements to accelerate business growth and strategic outcomes

Does this sound like you?

• Extensive experience in enterprise data architecture, integration and analytics enablement.
• Proven ability to assure and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable data and integration solutions.
• Experience in asset-intensive or operational technology environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in working in matrix reporting structures and influencing multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data governance, master data management, API strategy, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience building out a Data & Integration architecture practise, in a low maturity environment.
• Support the transition from discovery into delivery by providing clear AI architectural guidance
