Protech is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT).

This is a great opportunity for Mackay or Sarina locals looking for stable, ongoing work in a supportive team environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will support maintenance planning by delivering accurate job scoping and cost estimates.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with Maintenance Teams and Supervisors
• Assisting planners with job scoping and data entry
• Costing high-priority JDE work orders
• Interpreting work from plant inspections
• Providing accurate and practical planning information

Skills & Experience**:**

• Previous experience in estimating, planning or scheduling
• Practical knowledge of EWP, Rope access, Scaffolding and Man box/ crane desirable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Current Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to obtain MSIC

Desirable:

• EWP qualification
• Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres
• 2+ years site-based within the coal industry
• Experience with JDE systems
