Our client is a well-established leader in the crane and heavy lifting industry, delivering major infrastructure, mining and construction projects across Queensland. Due to continued project demand, they are seeking an experienced Open Crane Operator to join their team on a 2:1 FIFO roster flying into Cairns.
Open Crane Operator
- FIFO to Cairns
- 2:1 Roster
- 12 Hour Days
- $51.43/hr + Penalties (after 7.6 hours) + Super
- Immediate Start
- Long-Term Opportunity
Duties:
- Safely operate a range of cranes, including 25T Franna cranes through to 280T slewing cranes.
- Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
- Perform lifting operations in accordance with lift plans and Australian Standards.
- Work closely with riggers, dogmen and site supervisors to safely execute lifting activities.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Complete all required site documentation and reporting.
What Are the Requirements:
- Open Crane (CO) High Risk Work Licence.
- Minimum 10 years' crane operating experience.
- Construction White Card.
- Current Manual Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster and 12-hour shifts.
- Strong safety focus and excellent communication skills.
