About the Company

Our Brisbane based client is a leading civil construction company known for delivering major infrastructure projects such as road upgrades and bridge development and repairs. As a result of ongoing demand, they are currently looking to bring on a long term (5+ years) yard hand and a crane operator.

About the Role

Yard Hand / Open Crane Operator Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm Morningside, QLD Long Term Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Yard Hand: Operate a forklift, telehandler and ride on mower to clean up and organise the yard
• Yard Hand: Managing the intake and dispatching of deliveries
• Yard Hand: Working under the site manager to ensure a fluid operation
• Yard Hand: Using a computer for record keeping and documentation
• Crane Op: Safely operate cranes from a Franna 25T to 100T slewing crane

About You / Requirements

• Construction White Card
• Manual driver's licence and reliable transport to and from work.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
• Full working rights and full availability for required hours of work.
• Forklift licence (previous forklift experience ideal)
• Telehandler licence (previous telehandler experience ideal)
• Must be computer literate
• Open Crane Ticket (C0 License)
• 10 years of crane operating experience
