We are looking for motivated Coordinators Drill & Blast to support our high‑performing Drill & Blast teams across the Pilbara. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for leadership to develop their careers within a dynamic open‑pit mining environment.
You will work closely with Supervisors to support safe, efficient and high‑quality Drill & Blast execution, while being part of a supportive team focused on continuous improvement and personal development.
Leading on the frontline is one of the most important roles in our business. You will be supported by your Supervisor to grow your leadership capability while contributing to a safe, inclusive and productive work environment. Our rosters are designed to help you achieve a healthy balance between work, family and community.
This roles operate on an 8 days on / 6 days off, 7 nights on / 7 days off roster, providing extended time away from site.

Reporting to the Supervisor Drill & Blast and working within a collaborative mine operations team, you will:
- Conduct regular work area inspections and safety interactions to continuously improve safe behaviours and practices
- Assist with the preparation of drill patterns and blasting activities in line with approved plans
- Support the delivery of Drill & Blast activities in accordance with the mine plan
- Assist the Supervisor in maintaining team safety, compliance with critical standards and use of safety tools such as Take 5
- Undertake acting Supervisor duties when required and liaise with other departments to support operational outcomes
- Maintain strong knowledge of Western Australian mining standards, procedures and safe work practices
About you
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Experience in Drill & Blast activities within an open‑pit mining environment
- Emerging or proven leadership capability, with a desire to develop further
- Exposure to safety systems within a large mining or industrial environment
- A current unrestricted C Class manual driver’s licence
- Completion of the Statutory Supervisor Legal Exam
