Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
**Roster:**4 Days / 3 Off / 4 Days / 3 Off / 8 Days / 6 Off Perth FIFO
Reporting to the Superintendent - AHS Engineering, the Coordinator for HaulX Deployment is responsible for coordinating the safe and effective deployment of HaulX hardware across a range of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) and light vehicles within Fortescue operations.
The role is primarily focused on project deployment activities, including planning, scheduling, installation coordination, verification, and close-out of HaulX hardware installations on mobile plant. The position acts as the central coordination point between project teams, maintenance crews, autonomy/technology specialists, OEMs, and vendors to ensure installations are completed to specification, on schedule, and with appropriate quality and safety controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a safe working environment and the safe execution of all autonomy activities under the roles remit. Promoting, coaching and mentoring personnel to improve safety systems and procedures for all employees and contractors within the autonomy team
- Delivering sustainable and reliable performance of autonomy products in line with the project teams KPIs
- Review and ensure that the team can meet the project requirements and plans set out in cooperation with the Project teams requirements
- Contribute to Achieving the budgeted OPEX and CAPEX targets for the financial year through correct application of resources
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in maintenance, technology, or autonomy-focused teams.
- Strong background in HME maintenance, reliability engineering, or asset management.
- Experience with autonomous systems, fleet management systems, or advanced mining technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information across all organisational levels.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification or relevant Engineering Degree (Essential).
- S26 Supervisory Qualification.
- Formal leadership or management training (Highly Desirable).
