Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
- Liaise with maintenance teams to assess, prioritise, and schedule tasks based on operational requirements.
- Track and monitor maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with operations teams to align maintenance schedules with production plans.
- Monitor equipment performance data and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.
- Support the implementation of preventative maintenance plans.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting real-time equipment issues and facilitate prompt resolution.
- Provide regular updates on maintenance progress and equipment availability.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability.
Experience in the following systems will be highly regarded:
- SAP (Intermediate) – create MI & MN notifications, book parts, check parts availability, review previous and upcoming work orders.
- MineStar – Command for Hauling (High Competence) – interpret VIMS live data / JHM Web, monitor autonomous status pages, update downtime information, ensure correct coding and reconcile downtime records.
- Tyre Monitoring Software – working knowledge.
Ability to access and interpret operational procedures through company systems (e.g., CDC), including procedures related to lightning alerts, in-pit repairs and refuelling**.**
Your work environment
Working on a 7/7 days and nights roster, working in the AHS Control Room, with the opportunity to live locally or utilise DIDO accommodation, this role supports a balanced lifestyle while contributing to safe and efficient mining operations.
