About the Company
Australian Garnet owns the Lucky Bay garnet mine, which has a mine life of 30 years. We are an owner miner with our own fleet of mining equipment, have a fully operational processing plant, packaging plant and 7 wind turbines, construction was completed approximately 18 months ago and is located 30 kilometers from Kalbarri.
About the Role
Residential role, based in Kalbarri, Northampton or Geraldton working 7 days 7 nights and 7 days off roster. FIFO – 2/1 roster from Perth - 7 days 7 nights and 7 days off roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Control Room.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist with continuous improvement of plant process control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
What you need to Succeed
- Previous experience in mining
- Minimum 6 months’ demonstrated experience performing a plant control room, preferably in a mining environment.
- Current driver’s license (HR or C class).
- Must be able to provide a national police check and complete a pre-employment medical.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental standards.
- Willingness to work in a residential setting with a rotating roster.
