Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the Contracts Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating the full contract lifecycle—supporting stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Production and Senior Management. You will ensure contract processes, documentation, tendering and management activities meet company, legal and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all contract activities comply with company policies, procedures, systems, and governance requirements.
  • Review and confirm that contractual terms protect and promote the company’s commercial and legal interests.
  • Prepare and quality-check contract documentation, ensuring correct formats, authorisations and standards.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract protocols and engagement processes.
  • Assist in developing tender documentation and managing end-to-end tender processes.
  • Coordinate RFQs, tender enquiries, deadlines, evaluations and supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure evaluations consider safety, compliance, costs, performance, and contractor capability.
  • Provide ongoing contract administration advice on variations, disputes, breaches and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient contract filing, record-keeping and retrieval systems.
  • Maintain awareness of supplier performance, market capability and commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor contract expenditure, performance, renewals and upcoming expiries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes, systems and user experience.

Key requirements

  • 7+ years experience within contract management
  • Extensive experience within the mining sector or resources sector
  • A capable and collaborative professional
  • End-to-end contacts and procurement experience
  • Ability to use performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication and builds strong working relationships.
  • Shows initiative, adaptability and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrates resilience, integrity and a commitment to safety and risk management.
