Based just outside Perth's CBD, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and professional team starting early next year working across multiple projects with tier-one mining clients.

About the Role:
As a key member of the commercial team, you'll provide vital contract support across a wide portfolio of projects. Your role will involve reviewing and negotiating commercial terms, managing stakeholder relationships, supporting project teams, and overseeing day-to-day contract administration and reporting.

Depending on your experience, you'll either assist with or independently lead contract clarifications and negotiations with clients, insurers, legal teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contract terms; maintain and update clarification registers
  • Manage commercial correspondence and ensure contract documentation is accurate and well maintained
  • Support contract award, project setup, and sign-off documentation
  • Assist project teams with compliance, performance tracking, and key project meetings (kick-offs, reviews, close-outs)
  • Engage and assess subcontractors in line with head contract obligations
  • Support contract award processes, project setup, and execution documentation
  • Contribute to commercial and project reporting, including KPIs, forecasting, and cost control
  • Assist with pre-qualifications and tender submissions
  • Deliver internal reporting on costs, hours, and forecasting

About You:

  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role (3+ years for more senior applicants)
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts within mining/resources or infrastructure or engineering environments
  • Confident in reviewing contracts and leading clarifications with clients (essential at higher levels)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word in particular)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships

Salary & Flexibility:

  • Salary will depend on your experience and the level of responsibility you can take on
  • Full-time preferred, however part-time may be considered for the right candidates
  • The role is based in a central office location, close to public transport. Onsite parking available at a discounted daily rate
  • Surrounded by cafes, lunch spots, and amenities
