About the Company

Breight Group is looking for a skilled Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting major projects, giving you the opportunity to manage contracts, track costs, and contribute directly to project success.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, and site teams, you will be responsible for commercial management, progress claims, variations, and cost control, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer project contracts, variations, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitor project costs, progress claims, and financial performance.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Prepare and review contract documentation, claims, and variations.
  • Support procurement activities and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Attend site meetings and provide commercial support to the project team.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and project costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety, and contractual obligations.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor role on construction, mining, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Commitment to safety and delivering high-quality work.
