About the Role

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Contract Manager to join our high-performing Service Delivery team.

This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the operational and commercial performance of a defined portfolio of client work across shutdowns, maintenance, installations, and brownfield projects within the mining and infrastructure sectors.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of multiple site-based projects while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring performance across safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

You will oversee winning, planning, execution, and commercial outcomes while leading a team of Supervisors, Technical Officers, and site personnel.

Location: Perth Metropolitan

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shutdowns, installations, and site projects across your portfolio
• Lead planning, scheduling, and mobilisation of works
• Act as the primary client interface with a business development focus that builds strong relationships
• Drive financial performance including cost control, forecasting, and variations
• Lead and mentor Supervisors, Technical Officers, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Provide reporting on project performance, costs, and HSE

About You / Requirements

You are a strong operational leader with a proven ability to manage complex site-based work and client relationships while delivering commercial outcomes.

You will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in shutdowns, maintenance, or project delivery
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and contracts
• Strong commercial acumen and cost control capability
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in site environments
• A commitment to safety leadership and compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Trade or Engineering qualification (essential)
• S26 required or the ability/commitment to obtain this within 4 months.

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
• Experience with OEM equipment, wear management, or reliability
• Additional site-based certifications (W@H, Confined Space, GAS Test, Demonstrate First Fire Attack.)
