Job Description

Are you an experienced Construction Manager with water corp and piping project delivery experience  who knows what it takes to deliver on time within budget. Do you have strong sub contractor management experience? Reporting to the Project Manager This opportunity is for you!

What's on Offer:

A unique opportunity to join a multi disciplined well-established contractor delivering a key water infrastructure project 
Be a critical part of the project planning and mobilisation in the head office before project delivery on site transitioning to FIFO 2/1 roster.

What You Will Do:

  • Overall leadership and management of site construction activities.
  • Planning and delivery of project construction strategies, methodologies and work package instructions.
  • SOW - including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation.
  • Provide leadership to supervisors, subcontractors and project team.
  • Promote strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Manage project progress, costs and resourcing requirements.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality assurance and construction delivery.
  • Lead commissioning and handover activities with project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Thorough project progress reporting & performance outcomes.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Proven Construction Management experience with multidisciplinary construction including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and commissioning.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage large workforces and subcontractor teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Water Corporation Experience
