Construction Labourer

About the Role

Redpath Mining is seeking a Construction Labourer to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely carrying out mine services, housekeeping, and general labouring tasks to support site operations and maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, proactive, and committed to working safely in a mining or construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards, including the correct use of PPE and compliance with site procedures.
• Attend and actively participate in safety meetings, training sessions, risk assessments, and other site-related activities.
• Identify, report, and assist in managing workplace hazards, incidents, and emergencies to support a safe working environment.
• Assist tradespeople and batch plant personnel with a variety of construction, maintenance, and general labouring tasks.
• Safely operate hand tools and basic power tools, and undertake additional duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards, with a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk management.
• Previous experience in construction, mining, civil, or general labouring environments, with the ability to perform physically demanding work.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment, follow instructions, and support site operations as required.
• Experience using hand tools and basic power tools safely and efficiently.
• Reliability, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to learn, undertake training, and perform a variety of duties as needed.
