Concentrator Technician

About the role

As a Concentrator Technician at Ernest Henry, you will support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the processing plant.

Working within the concentrator team, you will assist with plant monitoring, inspections and sampling while developing your skills across key circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation and dewatering.

This is an entry-level role with a strong focus on training and development. You will gain hands-on experience and progressively build your capability through structured learning and on-the-job support.

You will work closely with operators, supervisors and technical teams to maintain plant performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Leading with safety, applying health, safety and security standards in all tasks and decisions
• Assisting with the operation of concentrator plant and associated systems
• Conducting inspections, sampling and basic process monitoring
• Supporting plant performance through accurate reporting and communication
• Maintaining clean, safe and compliant work areas
• Reporting faults and assisting with maintenance activities
• Participating in training programs and developing operational competency
• Maintaining accurate operational records and data
• Working collaboratively across operations and maintenance teams

About you

You are motivated, reliable and eager to build a career in mineral processing. You bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a hands-on operating environment.

You are comfortable working in a team, take direction well and are committed to working safely at all times.

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Dogging or basic rigging ticket (desirable)
• High Risk Work Licence or willingness to obtain (desirable)
• Additional site-based tickets such as confined space or working at heights (desirable)
