About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated Compliance Trainer – Fixed Plant Traineeships to facilitate training delivery for our successful fixed plant operator traineeship in this high impact role. Working an 8:6 roster, across all MinRes operations and client sites, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Facilitate training and assessment across Mineral Resources operations to deliver ​​RII30420 Certificate III in Resource Processing****​ for our fixed and processing plant operator trainees (Mining Services division)
  • Creation, review and input into training packages and tools
  • Promote and support the MinRes Training Standards and Processes
  • Upload completed training documentation into training management systems
  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for trainees to ensure they are set up for success
  • Monitor trainee progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and support
  • Provide guidance to operational leaders to ensure trainees receive comprehensive and well-rounded training experiences
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the program
  • Lead by example in the field to ensure best practices are demonstrated
  • Maintain currency of industry skills and trainer/assessor competencies

About You / Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE40116 (Mandatory)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the Resources, Mining & Crushing sector as a Fixed Plant Operator and/or Process Plant Operator
  • Ability to deliver:
    • RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces
    • MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres
    • RIIWHS204E - Work safely at heights
    • RIIMP0304E - Conduct wheel loader operations
    • RIIHAN311F - Conduct operations with integrated tool carrier
    • RIIHAN309F - Conduct telescopic materials handler operations
    • RIIMPO318F - Conduct civil construction skid steer loader operations
  • Proven experience in a Trainer/Assessor Role
  • Valid C Class drivers’ licence
