Completions & Handover Lead

We are seeking a Completions & Handover Lead to support a portfolio of large-scale capital projects across the resources and energy sector.

Roster: Monday to Friday Perth Based

Start: ASAP start

Length: 6 months with potential to extend

Hourly rate: $85.00 - $115.00 p/h + Super depending on experience

The Role:

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Completions & Handover Lead to support a portfolio of large-scale capital projects across the resources and energy sector.

This role is suited to a hands-on completions systems specialist who can design, configure and implement structured completions frameworks to support installation verification, commissioning readiness and operational handover.

You will play a key role in establishing the completions model and ensuring projects are set up for disciplined execution before construction and commissioning activities ramp up.

Key Responsibilities:

Completions Management System (CMS) Configuration:

• Configure and administer a completions management system to support structured verification and handover workflows
• Establish system boundaries and verification structures
• Develop Inspection & Test Record (ITR) frameworks, punch workflows and certification gates
• Implement configuration control processes and develop CMS training material

Data Management & Integration:

• Consolidate engineering, procurement, vendor and contractor datasets
• Clean, validate and reconcile large equipment and tag datasets prior to CMS upload
• Identify data inconsistencies, duplication and traceability gaps
• Implement structured data ingestion and quality control processes

Completions Governance:

• Support lifecycle separation across manufacturing, installation verification, commissioning and handover phases
• Develop and standardise ITR libraries in collaboration with commissioning teams
• Support staged handover and certificate-based completion milestones
• Provide governance and support to project teams during execution

Project Support & Oversight:

• Assist with onboarding completions specialists and project teams to CMS workflows
• Maintain oversight of completions data integrity and system boundaries
• Audit certificate readiness and completions data quality during execution

Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience configuring and administering a Completions Management System (CMS) on major capital projects
• Experience building completions structures from engineering data through to commissioning and operational handover
• Strong understanding of installation verification, punch management and commissioning readiness
• Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery or similar) for managing and transforming complex datasets
• Demonstrated experience integrating engineering, vendor and contractor data into structured workflows

Desirable Experience:

• Large-scale process plant or mining project experience
• Exposure to renewables, transmission, substations or major infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting modular fabrication or off-site assembly projects
• Experience onboarding project teams to structured completions systems
