It is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and holds a significant tenement package over the Cracow goldfields.

About the Role

We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for one more incredible person to join the team based at Cracow Gold Operations as the Community Liaison Officer

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this position is central to fostering and maintaining strong community relationships. It will see you effectively supporting the management of community related opportunities and risks specific to Cracow Operations. This will be achieved via of focus on the delivery, support and coordination of activities within the scope of our community and stakeholder related management plans. You will liaise with community members and stakeholders to build, maintain and manage Aeris Cracow Operations relationships with these groups while acting as the first point of contact for key stakeholders and the local community.

Critical aspects of this role are coordinating community activities e.g. sponsorship, donation and trainee and scholarship applications; community meetings; and representing and promoting Aeris Resources in community forums and events.

What you Bring:

  • Solid business administration experience.Relevant tertiary qualifications within the social sciences realm or communications, (Highly Regarded).
  • Proven track record of leading and facilitating teams or working groups.
  • Experience in or the ability to manage community engagement activities and work in cross cultural environments.
  • Media relations and public presentation skills to actively support and promote community engagement activities supported by the company (Highly Regarded)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills including interpersonal, verbal and written.
