We are seeking an experienced Community Infrastructure Officer to support the delivery and management of a large residential housing portfolio in Port Hedland.
Roster: Residential (Preferred): Monday - Friday | 7.6 hours per day OR: FIFO (Optional): Tuesday - Friday | 12 hour days
Start: ASAP start
Length: 3 - 6 months - may be extended for the right person
Hourly rate: $45.00 p/h + Super depending on experience
Please note company housing is not provided, therefore residential applicants must already have accommodation in Port Hedland.
The role:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Community Infrastructure Officer to support the delivery and management of a large residential housing portfolio in Port Hedland. This role sits within a service-focused team responsible for tenancy administration, property inspections and providing support to residential employees within a well-established resources operation.
This position would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organised and has strong customer service and administrative capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support including electronic filing and documentation management
- Coordinate and complete property condition reports including entry, pre-vacate and vacate inspections
- Liaise with tenants regarding property access, inspections and tenancy requirements
- Support onboarding and offboarding of residential tenants ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
- Prepare and issue tenancy agreements and associated leasing documentation
- Manage tenant enquiries and requests through structured case management
- Maintain accurate property and tenancy information within internal systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant tenancy legislation and internal policies
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within processes and service deliver
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years administration experience, ideally within property, housing, facilities, accommodation services or a similar environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property or asset management systems
- A positive and collaborative team player who contributes to a strong service culture
