Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximize their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product. Job Description:The Commercial Strategy Specialist drives informed commercial decision‑making by leading strategic planning coordination, delivering high‑quality market and competitive intelligence, and monitoring performance against key business objectives. The role ensures strong alignment between global strategy and regional execution by translating insights into actionable recommendations and partnering cross‑functionally to support forecasting, business cases, and long‑term planning. Key Responsibilities include:Strategic Planning & GovernanceCoordinate annual and multi‑year strategic planning cycles across all regions, ensuring alignment with global prioritiesManage planning timelines, inputs, templates, and deliverables to enable efficient and consistent regional engagementConsolidate regional strategic submissions into a cohesive global narrative for senior leadership reviewFacilitate cross‑functional workshops, strategy reviews, and senior leadership meetingsMarket & Competitive IntelligenceDevelop, maintain, and disseminate timely market, customer, and competitor intelligence that informs strategic and commercial decisionsTrack competitor activity, industry developments, government policies, and market trends with potential impact on long‑range plansIdentify forward‑looking market opportunities, risks, and value‑capture potentialProduce robust intelligence reports and deep‑dive analyses (both recurring and ad‑hoc) with clear, actionable insightsMeasure the impact and business value generated by commercial intelligence outputsPerformance Management & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain standardised frameworks to evaluate commercial opportunities across regionsMaintain dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor performance against annual and long‑term targetsAnalyse performance variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective or improvement actionsPrepare materials for monthly and quarterly strategic business reviews for executive leadershipCross‑functional Partnership & Business SupportPartner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning activitiesProvide insights to Operations to inform capacity and production planning decisionsSupport regional teams with structured insights that translate global strategy into clear regional action plansContribute to business cases for future technical and agronomy initiatives, ensuring recommendations are data‑driven and aligned to strategic objectives Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business, analytical, or related disciplineExperience working within a commercial and/or strategic functionProven ability to analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and translate findings into clear insights and implicationsDemonstrated experience managing multiple, varied projects and handling large and complex datasetsSolid understanding of statistical analysis outputs and their application to commercial decision‑makingKnowledge of agronomy or the mining industry is preferred but not essentialPrevious experience in the farm inputs industry (e.g. fertilizers, seeds, food) in a similar commercial or strategic role is preferred Additional information:Who we are:  We aim to lead the industry by pursuing ever safer and more responsible ways of working, demonstrating integrity and showing care and respect for people and the planet.
