Our client is a well-established commercial construction business delivering projects across sectors including commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. With a strong project pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Project Commercial Manager to take ownership of projects from award through to completion. 

In this role, you'll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on-time, and within budget.  You'll play a key role in driving commercial performance, managing contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Oversee project programmes and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost performance to maintain project margins
  • Manage contracts, variations, progress claims, and extensions of time (EOTs)
  • Lead site teams and drive performance across safety, quality, and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, building codes, and WHS requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or similar
  • Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects end-to-end (typically $5M+)
  • Strong contract administration and financial management capability
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Solid understanding of WHS, compliance, and construction legislation
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Current driver’s licence and White Card
