Techforce is partnering with a well-established organization delivering major projects across Australia.
We are recruiting for a Commercial Administrator to support the commercial and contract administration function on a major resources project. This is a hands-on role covering subcontractor progress claims, variations, EOTs, contractual correspondence and commercial reporting, suited to someone with construction, mining or infrastructure experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
- Administer contracts and subcontract agreements.
- Manage variations, claims, notices and contractual correspondence.
- Monitor project costs, commitments and commercial performance.
- Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
- Review contractual obligations and ensure compliance.
- Identify and manage commercial risks.
- Work with project and construction teams to resolve commercial issues.
- Prepare commercial reports and forecasts.
- Support project budgeting and cost control.
- Manage contractual interfaces between clients, contractors and subcontractors.
- Assist with dispute avoidance and resolution.
- Provide commercial advice to project leadership.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in commercial administration or project administration.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exposure to construction, mining or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Understanding of purchase orders and invoice processing.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.
