Description & Requirements

Monadelphous are seeking Coded Welders for the Pluto - KGP interconnector work to mobilise as soon as possible.

• Roster: 2:2
• Mobilisation: 5/10 onward
• Duration: Until 31 December 2026 with the possibility to extend
• Hours per Day: 12 hours You must be Perth or Karratha point of hire to apply.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Weld repairs inside of a tank
• Patch repairs of tank floor

Welding tests required:

• GTAW 50mm sch 160 6G c/s butt
• GTAW 50mm sch 80S 6G austenitic s/s butt
• GTAW/MMAW 150mm sch 120 6G c/s butt

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of two years working in oil and gas
• WA Drivers Licence
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
• Gas Test Atmospheres (within 3 years)
• Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• MSIC
• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Australian recognised)
• You will be required to complete weld tests as per the requirements listed above

Our onboarding process requires a full Monadelphous medical, drug & alcohol test, inductions, and weld tests.
