About the Role:
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing and production of precision metal parts run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll gain valuable experience across a variety of fabrication and engineering tasks while supporting the production process.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assisting with the preparation of materials and tools for manufacturing of high precision metal parts
- Supporting the assembly and fabrication of metal components under supervision
- Loading and unloading raw materials, parts, and finished products
- Maintaining a clean and organized workshop or factory floor
- Assisting with cutting, grinding, de-burring, and drilling tasks as directed
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience running manufacturing machinery in a metal/steel manufacturing environment
- Experience with a variety of tools, including de-burring tools
- Previous experience in a trade-related
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Current Australian driver’s license
