About the Role:

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing and production of precision metal parts run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll gain valuable experience across a variety of fabrication and engineering tasks while supporting the production process.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assisting with the preparation of materials and tools for manufacturing of high precision metal parts
• Supporting the assembly and fabrication of metal components under supervision
• Loading and unloading raw materials, parts, and finished products
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop or factory floor
• Assisting with cutting, grinding, de-burring, and drilling tasks as directed

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience running manufacturing machinery in a metal/steel manufacturing environment
• Experience with a variety of tools, including de-burring tools
• Previous experience in a trade-related
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Current Australian driver’s license
