About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Manager - Patient Support Services to join our Health & Education team. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Operations and Performance you will lead a large patient support workforce and partner closely with clinical teams to deliver safe, responsive and patient centric services that enhance the patient experience and support positive clinical outcomes.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Lead and embed operational performance frameworks that support safe, reliable and high‑quality service delivery across Health & Education contracts.
  • Partner closely with operational leaders to translate strategy into measurable outcomes and sustainable improvements.
  • Analyse performance data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, supporting informed decision‑making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and learning.
  • Support governance, reporting and assurance activities to ensure contractual, compliance and client expectations are met.

About You / Requirements

  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse, with a strong commitment to clinical governance and patient safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership or operational service delivery within a hospital or complex healthcare environment.
  • Proven capability in managing Patient Support Services, including food services, orderly services and patient transport, within quality and safety frameworks.
  • A strong track record in service improvement, quality assurance and client engagement, with the ability to translate insights into meaningful outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualifications in management (highly desirable), with additional credentials such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or formal training in Infection Prevention and Control or clinical governance modules considered advantageous.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse (mandatory)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (advantageous)
