About the Role

As a Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil projects from concept through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing civil projects through the full project life cycle
  • Coordinating contractors, procurement, and site execution activities
  • Maintaining project schedules, budgets, KPIs, and reporting
  • Preparing and managing project documentation and registers
  • Engaging stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
  • Negotiating contracts and supporting commercial outcomes
  • Driving strong safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Identifying and resolving project risks and challenges

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer
  • Proven project management experience across the full life cycle
  • Civil project delivery experience within a mining environment
  • Experience managing contractors, procurement, and site execution
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Demonstrated contract administration and project control experience
  • Ability to manage project documentation, reporting, and registers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • High commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
  • Experience within Queensland coal mining operations is highly regarded (preferred)
