Our client is delivering main road and civil construction projects in Mackay and other surrounding areas. They are seeking experienced civil operators and labourers to join the team starting ASAP!

Main Roads & Civil Construction Projects

  • $52-$55 per hour
  • Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:00am - 12:00pm

The Role:
This position will see you operating excavators (Final Trim / GPS), posi-tracks, watercarts, moxy's, roller,s forklifts and skid-steers as well as labouring on road/civil projects in Mackay and other surrounding areas. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans, set levels, and work to grade
  • Experience with general earthworks, bulk excavation, benching, trenching and final trim
  • GPS experience
  • Ability to conduct pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements:

  • Operators much have current tickets for at least 1 of the following:  Excavator / Posi-Track / Watercart or HR License
  • White Card
  • Previous civil operating and/or labouring experience
  • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Full Australian working rights
