About the Company
Our client is a leading civil and construction contractor delivering projects across the Pilbara region.
About the Role
This role will support early-stage civil construction works associated with the development of new camp infrastructure, including a promenade and gym facilities.
Duties
- General civil construction support
- Trenching and excavation assistance
- Installation of temporary fencing and site infrastructure
- Spotting machinery and working around excavators in confined areas
- General labouring and site clean-up duties
- Assisting trades and plant operators as required
Experience working in civil construction environments and around heavy machinery is essential for this role. High-risk work exposure and familiarity with excavation activities will be highly regarded.
Tickets for skid steer, loader, or excavator operation will be a strong advantage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in civil construction or heavy industrial labouring roles
- Roy Hill Induction (highly advantageous)
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Forklift ticket (advantageous)
- Machinery tickets (skid steer/excavator) – desirable but not essential
- Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
