Civil Designer

Opportunity Overview

• Location: Perth
• Contract: 6-month contract - View to extend.
• Join a major renewable energy infrastructure project focused on wind farm development
• Work within a collaborative engineering and design team delivering civil packages
• Exposure to large-scale energy and decarbonisation projects with strong mentorship support

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with civil design layouts, including site development
• Drainage systems
• Produce 3D earthworks modelling using 12d
• Develop general arrangement and detailed design drawings
• Support quality control through design checks and documentation reviews
• Work across transmission and renewable energy infrastructure packages

Experience & Requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in civil drafting/design
• Exposure to 12d software (essential)
• Understanding of drafting standards and design processes
• Experience with earthworks and/or infrastructure packages (preferred)
• Background in mining, renewables, or large infrastructure projects is advantageous

Technical Skills

• 12d (core requirement)
• Exposure to MicroStation (beneficial)
• Microsoft Office suite

• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication
