Location and Project

Qualifications
- University degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- More than 15 years of experience in earthmoving and concrete works on medium to large-scale projects, ideally in mining, heavy industry or natural resources.
- Experience working for Owner's Team, EPCM or EPC contractors.
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies for civil works, earthworks and concrete.
- Knowledge of risk management and constructability.
- Advanced English and fluent Spanish.
Role objective
Lead and technically supervise the execution of civil works on the Coroccohuayco Project, ensuring effective integration between engineering, construction, EPCM, contractors and the owner’s team. The role is responsible for promoting best practices in construction, constructability and management of civil works during the various project stages, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule and cost standards. It should also ensure proper execution of earthmoving and concrete works, as well as appropriate handover of facilities to end users and operating areas.
Operational context
The Coroccohuayco Project is a strategic expansion of the Tintaya-Antapaccay complex, combining brownfield and greenfield activities. The role works under the direction of the Construction Manager and actively participates in implementing best construction practices, multidisciplinary coordination and optimisation of civil works execution. The role interacts continuously with engineering, operations, contractors and support areas to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Experience and capabilities
- Strong commitment to operational safety.
- Broad knowledge of civil works, earthworks and concrete construction methodologies for mining and industrial projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary work during construction phases.
- Knowledge of EPC, EPCM and Owner Integrated Teams contract models.
- Ability to resolve technical issues considering engineering, procurement, construction and total cost of ownership.
- Leadership, negotiation and influence with multicultural teams and contractors.
- Ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Autonomous, resilient, proactive and results‑oriented profile.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and specialised supervision of civil works for the Coroccohuayco Project.
- Advise the project team on constructability, construction management and best practice execution of civil works.
- Oversee compliance with safety, housekeeping, fire protection and zero injuries philosophy in the field.
- Ensure effective supervision of EPCM performance and contractors, eliminating constraints affecting cost, schedule or productivity.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations and support areas to optimise construction sequences and execution methodologies.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement in construction techniques to minimise risks and maximise return on invested capital.
- Define and recommend construction procedures to ensure works are executed to design and specifications.
- Train and advise our own staff, contractors and consultants in constructability and construction management under project governance.
- Support the Construction Manager in the overall execution of civil works, including coordination of supervision, contractual administration, costs, schedule and resource management.
- Implement earthmoving and civil works execution strategies aligned with corporate standards and lessons learned.
