Working alongside an experienced kitchen team, you'll play a key role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals that keep our workforce fuelled and ready for the day ahead.

Shift Times:

• Breakfast Shift: 2:30am – 12:30pm
• Dinner Shift: 11:00am – 9:00pm

Please note: This is a Kalgoorlie residential role.

About the Role

Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast or dinner meals for 65+ personnel daily
• Planning and organising menus while catering for dietary requirements and preferences
• Maintaining exceptional food presentation, taste and consistency
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health standards
• Managing stock levels, ordering requirements and minimising food wastage
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
• Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy meal service periods
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (within validity period)
• Previous experience in a bulk catering or high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights
• National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
