What's the opportunity?

As a Cablebolter, you'll play a critical role in maintaining underground ground support standards through the safe and efficient installation of cable bolts. Working as part of our Underground Operations team, you'll operate a Sandvik Cable Bolter, install ground support to approved designs and help ensure safe production outcomes across the operation.

• Safely operate a Sandvik Cable Bolter to install cable bolt ground support
• Drill and install cable bolts in line with approved ground support plans and specifications
• Mix and pump grout while maintaining installation quality standards
• Conduct pre-start inspections, equipment checks and defect reporting
• Identify and manage workplace hazards and changing ground conditions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Does this sound like you?

You're a safety-focused underground mining professional with experience in cable bolting and ground support installation. You take pride in delivering quality work, following procedures and contributing to a strong team culture. Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience operating Sandvik Cable Bolters and installing cable bolt ground support in an underground mining environment
• Strong knowledge of cable bolt installation, grout mixing and ground support practices
• The ability to interpret ground support designs and follow installation specifications
• A current manual driver's licence and relevant cable bolting competencies.
