About the Company
Pearl Recruitment are currently working with a well-established cabinetry and joinery business based in the Armadale area, delivering custom work across both workshop fabrication and onsite installation projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker / Joiner to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers a mix of workshop and onsite work, suited to someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position covering the full cabinetry process, including fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom joinery. You'll work from technical drawings and specifications to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes across a range of projects. You'll be part of a supportive, practical team environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and workmanship are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install cabinetry to specification
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively
- Ensure high-quality finishes with strong attention to detail
- Assist with general workshop duties including materials handling and organisation
- Identify and report defects or safety issues
- Work collaboratively with trades, apprentices, and supervisors
- Support and guide junior team members where required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in line with WHS standards
Qualifications & Certifications
- Trade qualification in Cabinetmaking / Joinery (Certificate III or equivalent)
- White Card (essential)
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in cabinetry or woodworking
- Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of tools, machinery, and workshop practices
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Team-focused with good communication skills
- Drivers licence (essential)
