Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Carry out breakdown repairs on underground mobile mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Complete component change-outs including engines, transmissions, axles and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely.
• Work collaboratively with operators, supervisors and the maintenance team.
• Comply with all site safety procedures and company policies.

Equipment Experience Experience working on one or more of the following is highly regarded:

• Sandvik loaders, trucks and drills
• Epiroc / Atlas Copco equipment
• Caterpillar underground equipment
• Normet utility vehicles
• Volvo and Toyota underground support vehicles

Requirements

• Australian recognised Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter trade qualification.
• Previous underground mining experience preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (manual preferred).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
