Monadelphous are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our Brisbane M&IS business on a permanent basis. This role will see you working Monday to Friday based in our Milton Office.

Ideally, you will bring a calm, considered approach to your work and are comfortable operating in environments where things are still being tested or refined. When challenges arise, you don't rush or gloss over details. You take the time to understand the issue, ask the right questions, and work through practical solutions.

You will be expected to draw on your experience from IT, engineering, or similar technical environments, which helps you understand how systems, processes, and people fit together.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Translate business needs into practical technology and system solutions.
• Support delivery of initiatives across business systems, applications, integrations, and digital tools.
• Liaise with business teams, IT, Innovation, vendors, and system owners to progress requests and changes.
• Identify pain points, improvement opportunities, and technology-related business needs.
• Assist with technical scopes of work for system changes and enhancements.
• Document processes, requirements, workflows, and solution impacts.
• Coordinate actions, risks, dependencies, and progress across initiatives.
• Support testing, implementation, stakeholder communication, and ongoing operational support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across systems and processes.

What you will bring

• Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business
• Solid understanding of business systems and data structures, with the ability to interpret, troubleshoot, and improve system‑based workflows
• Foundational coding or scripting capability (e.g. logic, automation, or data handling), with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Strong analytical and practical problem‑solving capability, able to work through issues methodically and with sound judgement
• Backgrounds in project coordination or delivery will be well suited to this role
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships and manage multiple stakeholders across different teams and locations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
