About the Role

As the Business Improvement Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing reporting capability, automating data processes, and delivering actionable insights that support operational decision making.

Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy
Integrate operational datasets (labour, safety, production) into centralised reporting platforms
Support enterprise-wide data initiatives and ensure high-quality data integration
Design, build, and manage dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI)
Ensure integrity, consistency, and reliability of data across reports
Enhance reporting scripts and processes for ongoing performance tracking
Incorporate third-party data sources into reporting frameworks
Identify opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, or similar
Advanced experience with Power BI and data visualisation
Strong skills in data integration, ETL processes, and scripting (SQL, Python)
Experience supporting system implementations and change initiatives
Exposure to mining, resources, or heavy industry data (highly advantageous)
