The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for an ongoing 9–12-month labour‑hire role on a greenfield and brownfield water infrastructure project based in Burpengary, QLD. This role is ideal for a senior electrician or electrical engineer who enjoys site leadership, safety ownership, and working closely with stakeholders on large infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with:

• Supervising electrical works including switchboards, terminations, and LCSs
• Hazard identification and enforcing site safety protocols
• Monitoring project progress and coordinating daily activities
• Reviewing subcontractor QA documentation and ensuring compliance
• Interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards
• Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
• Completing reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

To be considered you must have:

• Electrician or Electrical Engineer qualification with 8+ years’ experience
• QLD A‑Grade Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Experience on water or utility projects (Unity Water experience desirable)

Benefits:

• Pay rate: $80–$90 per hour(based on experience)
• Ongoing role – approximately 9–12 months
• Consistent day shift hours (6:00am – 3:30pm)
• No tools required – standard PPE provided
