About the Role

Join Monadelphous in a casual FIFO role supporting ongoing rolling shutdowns and maintenance across FMG, Rio Tinto and BHP operations. Point of hire is available from any Australian capital city, with potential to transition into ongoing project rostered work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support rolling shutdowns across FMG, Rio Tinto and BHP operations.
• Perform shutdown and maintenance activities on crushers, conveyors, screens and associated fixed plant equipment.
• Complete structural welding, fabrication, repairs and component replacements in line with site specifications.
• Carry out maintenance on chutes, bins, hoppers, guards, handrails and conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and work packs to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.

Skills & Experience

• Australian-recognised Trade Certificate.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space certification within 3 years.
• Gas Test Atmospheres within 5 years; Basic Fire within 4 years.
• White Card; driver’s licence and right to work; site inductions highly regarded.
