About the Role
Boilermaker/Welder, casual in Bunbury workshop with the opportunity to work with advanced technology while supporting the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of critical mining assets across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld structural steel, mechanical components, and piping to Australian Standards and client specifications.
- Prepare materials and components for welding using best practices.
- Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Interpret and work from drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure all equipment is secure and well-kept.
- Complete additional tasks as directed within your skills and qualifications.
About You / Requirements
- Australian-recognised Trade Certificate.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening and perform manual labour.
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
- Dogging/Rigging and Forklift tickets (advantageous but not essential).
- Reside locally or be willing to relocate to the South West.
